It is with sadness that the EMDG committee have had to make the decision to increase our membership fee to £40 yearly. This is mainly due to the huge cost the BRC take from us to be an affiliated riding club, leaving us very little to help with the running our wonderful club. We do sincerely hope you will continue to support the EMDG.

Below is information from the BRC regarding membership fees and their Sport:80 platform.
NOTICE FROM THE BRC:
We are coming up to the first membership renewal windows opening this weekend. Members can renew in the last 30 days of their membership. All memberships purchased on the platform in 2023 will expire on the 31st December 2024. Any membership purchased on the membership platform after 1st January 2024 will run for 12 months from the point of purchasing the membership.

Members who chose to make a single payment when they purchased their membership will be sent renewal reminders 30 days, 10 days and the day before their membership expires. These include a link to the platform to log in and renew. When renewing they can select a different membership type if needed, for example if they are going from a junior to a senior membership. Members will pay whatever the current membership fee the club has set at point of purchase. Twelve months will be added to the current expiry date of their membership so they can renew early without effecting this date.

Members who have selected to auto-renew when purchasing will receive a reminder 7 days before their membership renews that this money will be taken. They will automatically renew on the same membership type. If they wish to cancel their auto-renewal they can do this by going into their club membership page and clicking on the three dots under actions at the end of their club membership line. This will give them the option to cancel their auto-renewal.
